UBL Staff is Very Bad

I am Rashid from Sargodha. UBL Wis Debit card is very suitable for me to make online payment. I went to UBL branches authorized to issue UBL wis debit card but unfortunately failed to get one. The reasons are as follows:

Khiyaam Choak Branch Sarghodh: They asked me to prsesnt my business visiting card along with my Original NIC card. After a couple of hours when I presented both the documents they refused to issue the card saying that it was not a business proof. I did not see a business proof requirement at UBL site for the issuance of UBL wis debit card.

PAF Road Branch: They simply told me that their manager was not there at the bank and they cannot issue card.

Club Road Branch: They asked for the business proof and NIC copy and upon presenting they said that the concerned person was not their.

Kechehri Road: They told me that they did not know the Password to issue a wis debit card. I was not sure whether they need a password to issue wis card or not.

    • Yes,, u r right, UBL employes of Charsadda are also not givng too much time to understand wht the customer syng.. and they dont have a well trainned staff. there was a bg problem in issuing of BISP Cards Money in previous days.

        i am naveed ahmed from Lahore. i open account in ubl branch lalak chowk dha Lahore.but my issue is creat me there day b y day my amount in my account deduct . recently 4 jen 2016 25000 deduct . but no any person listen my problem there . please solve my problem and reply me soon. i am not satisfies ubl bank service. i lost ubl bank
        about 125000 pk rupees.about 2 month complete my issue still not solve. no any person interest to solve my

    They are both inefficient and irresponsible. But all fingures are not equal.You should contact directly Head Office. Get their complaint number by visiting UBL website. Send a detailed e-mail or call them. I did so and they gave me response. Good luck.

    • I did. I did visited headoffice, Islamabad. They are just stupid. No one is cooperative. The old man Mr. Fayaz (WiZ card dealer) at UBL HEAD OFFICE ISLAMABAD is very rude. Never gave correct information. I visited 3-4 times.

    ubl branch hazro had Berry poor customer services. it was the worst experience to be there.they don’t say welcome to any person.after standing about 4 min in the front desk I said hello reply was so boring the Guy name amjad at front desk miss guide me. send me the person named irfan he was about to fight me. I took all this to the branch manger hamid nawaz he offered me a cup of water and has no answer of my complaints. Finley I asked help number he gave me wrong number and also told me not to use my cell fone at the bank I went out side to call came back and asked for right number he gave me another number witch was aria manager’s number (051-4902223 malik arif) listen my complain ant hung up the fone after tried several time I give up.and found the help number I called after waiting 6 min no anwser I disconnect the call. bottom line I will close my ubl account and also advice my brother to do the same on Monday 04-06 -2012. and I will say ,I have no such problem in silk bank hazro. they are doing best.

    You are right brothers. Seems like UBL doesn’t pay attention upon its staff or it doesn’t value its customers. I opened an account in UBL. When I received email from UBL that your account has been opened and collect the check book from your local branch, I visited that local branch (Ghazi Branch, Distt Haripur). I asked them about my check book. Then could you believe, no one attended me and after sitting half an hour, the security guard of the bank took pity on me and asked me why you are here. I told him my purpose. He went in a room and after searching (I don’t know was he able to read or not) for two minutes, he said your checkbook isn’t here.
    Oh man can you believe a security guard …. eh.
    I think I should move to HBL bearing a loss of 500 rupees required to open a basic account.

    Dear Abdul Wahab Zahid! It is easy for me to understand your worries because It has happened to me. But Please you must play your role. Get the head office number and tell them directly. Please tell them the the branch name, the name of the manager and the person responsible to issue check books. I am sure they will take action.

    I am Govt, Employ and my salary going dirctly in my Account No 086 0469 100 9616 2 since last 9 months salary of JUNE 2012 as usual reliesed from Accountant General Sindh for same account of same Branch i.e UBL TANDO GHULAM ALI DISTRICT BADIN Manager told me that your salary not recieved from head office I shown my A,G Sind salary slip but he he said you may contact our Head office OR Zonal OFFICE Now tell me what shall I do .Who will be responsible for for posting of salary bill ,

    I am very disappointed with UBL customer service. First of all no one ever informed me that my has become dormant and on top of that i have to buy $2000 ticket to visit UBL branch in Pakistan. Wow!!!!! What a good solution suggested by UBL after 6 days of emailing and calling.

    If You can’t provide on-phone solutions or via email then why Is UBL offering netbanking and phonebanking. UBL is good in copying features from developed countries but the implementation is shame!!!

    Ahhhhhhh UBL wants me to visit a branch in Pakistan while i am sitting in Australia :(((((((((

    Only one day before this, the CS officer on phone told me to email your ID card and we will remove all restrictions on your account. The very next day i get a call and say they van’t do it. lol

    Why they didn’t tell me on the very first day that my account is in sleep mode. I would have made some alternative arrangements. UBL CS is not succinct and it took them 6 days to find out that my account is Dormant.

    As a response i am going to switch all accounts including my family business accounts from UBL. Also i am going to flood the internet banking review sites with what i have experienced for last 6 days.

    I will try my best to convince other fellows that UBL customer service is terrible. I will have to write a complete detailed review and will spread it accordingly.

    Thanks a lot for showing the reality of modern banking in Pakistan.

    I am a government servant of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and have been a customer of UBL Jumrud Road, Jehangirabad branch, Peshawar for the past more than thirty years. I regret to inform that on 06-08-2013, at exactly 1:44 p.m, I came to the bank to cash a cheque of mine. The security staff at the gate did not allow me to enter the bank. I enquired about the bank timing which the security staff informed to be 1:45 p.m as closing during Ramazan. I informed him that there is still a minute left and have also allowed an other fellow in front of me at the moment, but he refused to allow me to the bank. He argued with me that my watch is not correct. I appreciate the time observance of UBL staff but regretted to say that this practice is not followed in the morning as the bank does not really start functioning at 8.00 a.m. When I turned back to move to my vehicle, another costumer (probably known to him) came at the gate and was allowed to enter. This irritated me and I enquired the Security staff about his name to lodge a complaint against him but he was reluctant to show me his name. Meanwhile, another staff member of the bank came to the door and took me inside the bank. I have observed that the services offered by the bank have deteriorated recently.
    I also request the bank higher-ups to look into the matter personally and take necessary steps to improve the working conditions of the said branch may be taken.

In other banks the govt servents got their salary on the end of every month on 31st but our bank which is UBL Muzaffargarh paid us our salary after 5th of the month. plz solve our problem and make the ubl customer more thanx

  • Ubl is one of the worst banks u can imagine their employees know nothing about customer service or even banking they don’t even have any proper knowledge about the services they offer they will misguide u or simply lie to u out of ignorance . EVEN Governments offices are better than UBL i have visited national savings and many other financial institutions and banks . UBL has always proved being worst in all traits . National savings handle much more customers than any other private bank and is not yet fully computerized but is 1000 times better than computerized branches of ubl anyone may say that National savings is not a bank but they handle much more customers, money and data than any other bank . **** UBL

    I am a senior doctor and medical teacher .I am serving in the prestigious institution of Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital Complex Lahore. I have been your customer (cash line A/C No : 0049-626-6013-9 ; Repayment A/C No : 0049-628-6013-5 : CNIC No : 35202-2709364-9),with excellent repayment record ,for the last many years.
    Strange enough, the bank ,despite my repeated complaints, has stopped sending monthly bank statements for the last many months. This non-professional approach of the bank leads to terrible inconvenience of rushing to the bank in emergency with payment of ‘’fine’’ as late fee every month. I have to pay extra money for the negligence of the bank.
    Please ask the concerned staff members to be more responsible and professional .And sort out the issue.

    It is here by intimate you that I get loan for vehicle purchase in the month of May-2008
    and pay the installment regularly while I have clear the all dues by depositing checque of balance on dated 04-11-2013. before time and loan closing letter issued by your end on dated 19-Nov-2013.
    It is very strange and shocked for me to know that my vehicle documents file still in the custody of dealer.
    It is realy a strangeable thing that a well reputed Bank could not resolve the matters with dealars during Five/Six year i-e 2008 to 2014.

    WE HAVE TO INFORM THAT UNITED BANK LIMITED (UBL) BRANCH SEHWAN SHARIF”S NON PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE CREATES A LOT OF PROBLEMS FOR US. WORLD IS RUNNING THROUGH THE COMPUTER AGE, THIS BRANCH IS STILL IN STONE AGE. WHICH TRANSACTION SHOULD BE MADE “UP TO DATE” IN MINUTES, HERE IS THE MATTER OF HOURS OR DAYS.
    TO KEEP DEPOSITS WITH THEIR OWN BRANCH THEY MADE IT HABIT TO CREDIT THE PAY IN SLIPS WHEN ALL OUR RESPONDING OFFICE HOUR ARE OVER.
    MOSTLY THEY HAVE A READY REASON FOR THIS THAT ONLINE SYSTEM/NETWORK SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING. IF IT WAS THE MATTER OF DAYS OR WEEKS IT WAS NOT A BIG ISSUE BUT CELEBERATING EVERY DAY AS SUNDAY IS NOT BEARABLE.
    MANY TIMES WE REQUESTED THEM FOR ACCEPTANCE OF AMOUNT ON UBL-ZONG PAY IN SLIP ENABLING US TO SEND OUR ORDER FOR ZONG PRODUTS BY SCANNING OF SLIP, THEY REFUSE TO DO SO THAT DOING THIS SHALL MAKE THEIR POSITION AWKWARD.
    MANY TIMES CASH HAS BEEN RETURNED BACK THAT WHILE SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING,HOW CAN WE ACCEPT THE CASH ?

    I’ve tried to apply for wiz internet may be 3 or 4 times. The bank manager is so idiot he almost always manages to enter wrong password in his computer and gets his account suspended for next 2 business days.

    wiz Internet card is a great facility offered at the hands of total morons.

  • I am Shahid Ali Manager TCS PVT LIMITED MPK my persional account 012810152362 is continue 1994 also company AC 012801048278 whole office staff A/C account in this branch UBL 0128 M A JINNAH ROAD MPK during eid days always your previous bank Manager specially Zahid But was very cooprative and obildge every time and given fresh pakect on behalf of senior a/c holder when he promote as DM Last month now there is no permanant BM we are good a/c holder but last couple of week your CSM MR SHAHRUKH is only miscomitment and continue saying no fresh cash for account holder when ever in front of us given bundles of cash to un known persons

  • Some in the staff of UBL are really idiot. They don’t know how to deal customer specially females. I visit UBL branch and the team lead of bank didn’t proceed my documents for opening an account. After one week when i visit again the documents still pending. Such a irresponsible behavior of that person.

    Such type of complaints are being faced by me as well,and my opinion and experience about UBL is also not favorable.I am also suffering for not getting the e-statement and ATM card of my account since a year in spite of repeated requests and submission of requisite documents for number of times and always UBL Customer Service ask identical sly questions with no solutions.Whereas my concerned branch has submitted all requisite documents to UBL Head office at Karachi but their inefficient staff is unable to update my account record,resulting inconvenience to me.

    UBL Minara Road Sukkur Branch. Just I 45 days before my sister send a cheque to UBL Minara Road Sukkur to cash the amount of 6000 only through my father and she forget to close the 6,000 amount written in number but she clearly wrote Six thousand only in words, My father is also not noticed it and he got the cash of 6,000. after a month my sister checked her balance and found that 60,000 has been detected from her account as we visited the branch and got our bank statement. we found that the 60,000 amount has been deducted from the account, on request to the concerns they showed us the cheque through which we draw the amount and we found that in words the amount is only six thousand but in numbers it is written as 60,000.
    At this stage The manager was ask my father that how many rupees you got from the cashier, he replied 6000 and on confirmation from the cashier he replied that I gave him sixty thousand.
    Now I requested to the Bank manager and operation manager that please satisfy me that my father has got 60,000 from this cashier or show me any evidence but the whole bank workers and managers were not able to satisfy me.
    I gave them the idea that the CCTV camera is installed all over the bank kindly show me the potage of the cashier and my father and we will find the solution.
    The manager was agree but told that you are late we keep the data only for a month and after that it transfer to the Head Office.
    Now It has been more then 20 days the UBL managers are unable to get the potage

    BUT During this time of period they are sending some irrelevant person to my shop to deal with them. On my refusing they are now calling to my sister on her personnel number and also threating her.
    This is what I and my family is facing to get my money back from UBL and even though the Audit of UBL is sleeping even after we had make a complain trough phone.
    UBL is serving the employees but not to the customer. Also promoting the frauds.
    Now waiting for the response from the UBL Management and Concerns

    at this stage while you are drawing more then 50,000 thousand from any account the 3 persons are to verify the amount from UBL side, 1- the cashier, 2- Supervisor and 3- the manager, but extremely Sorry with the UBL management no one noticed this and cashed the cheque on which

  • I’ve been a UBL customer for 16 years (Schoolroad branch ISD) and I cannot agree more. They have the worst customer support as well as a cold staff. If you think Governmental procedures can churn lassi of your damagh, you should try UBL. I have a UBL Mastercard but I wish I had the debit card (for the stupid Internet session restrictions) – which I haven’t been to obtain even after 3 attempts, despite the fact that I’m with them for 16 years. I try to do everything online and avoid contacting any UBL person unless absolutely necessary.

    Even right now, its been over a week – almost – and they haven’t been able to tell me the status of a remittance. The CS is no longer answering emails (you get fired for such things in any sane organization) and all I get is “ah! we cant help you, talk to this number/email”; so far tried six different emails/numbers.

    Anyone falling for their “free” current account gimmick (it isn’t totally free btw) – please reconsider and choose your bank wisely. I’m planning moving my account to some other bank.
