I got my UBL WIZ Card. Although not easy as “UBL jao, cash do , card lo”.
Because it took me one and a half hour to get the card. That was the time spent on filling the form
and updating data on computer.
After getting the card I generated my pin by calling helpline at 021-111-825-888 . I had to wait for some time here to get connencted to phone banker.
The purpose of getting card was to use it online for payment.
For that I had to register for using card on the internet.
I downloaded Internet Activation Form from UBL site.
I filled it and faxed it on the number given on the form.
The form can also be sent by mail, or you can scan and email filled form to the bank.
But faxing seemed to me to be the quickest.
Registeration takes about 24 hours after reciept of form at the bank.
After registeration I activated my online shopping session by calling UBL helpline. Banker asked about the duration of session and the amount I wanted to spend. Session was activated and I used my card on the Net.
It was a nice experience and this was a product I always wanted to Have.

How much does UBL Wallet/Wiz fee charge for Shopping on American WebSites which have currency in $ (US Dollars) or any other foreign currency??…
for Example on Standard Chartered Debit Card is=
"Currency conversion fee on foreign transactions (ATM/POS) : 2.5% or Rs.300 (whichever is higher)of the transaction amount of any foreign currency transaction made or charged to your account."

There is no response sent from the bank.
You just have to call 0800-11825 after 24 hours of sending registration form to get your “online shopping session” activated.

Thanks yes I have heard about that Wiz card don’t support google sites but I have purchased Internet card instead of normal Wiz card which is pre-activated and need not to call customer centre to start session

i like wiz card especially for students becoz now a days we cant hold cash with us this is the safest way for those who dont have credit or debit cards and also there is no need to open account just fill simple form and get wiz card

Mere poochnay par banker kahnay lagi hamaray pas travellers stock main khatam tha hum nay socha ye bana dain. Yar ye buhut dramay kar rahay hain. Main nay kal10000 jama karwaya tha card bhi lay aya hoon aur abhi tak mera card main balance nahin aya. Kisi k pas koi advice hai to mujhay batao.

Yesterday I went to a UBL Branch near my home to get the UBL Wiz Card. I asked a few questions from the officer at the bank about the card and this what she did (Keep in mind she is dealing a prospective customer):
- She never even talked to me face to face just kept looking at the computer screen.
- She did not have any idea about the different features of the card, being the bank representative, I expect her to have at least some knowledge!
- When I asked her how much time it would take to get the card, this was her response: “Jee time to is mein kuch bhee nahi lagta, par mein abhi buhat busy hoon. Meray pas time nahi hai..Buhat see checks kee clearings karni hain” (What the??? )
- I kept my calm and controlled my anger and asked her if she would give me the form so that I could fill it and give it to her, so that she can make the card and I can take it from her tomorrow. She said OK. Come at same time tomorrow. So I filled out the form and gave it to her. I asked her one more time, you are sure it will be ready by tomorrow and she said Yes (still looking at the computer screen).
- Next day that means today I went to the bank and asked her if my card was ready and you know what? She had completely forgotten about it!! Now this was really getting on my nerves.
- I reminded her that she had promised me it would be ready by today and she said ” Oh! Kaam itna hai mein kya karoon. Hamara Server bhee down tha. Subah dair say kaam shru huya hai” (Just notice still no guilt and not even a single sorry and please.
- This was the limit I said I dont want the bloody card. Give me back the form…and you know what…you wont believe it!!!. She gave it back to me!!! No Sir, no sorry no please wait mein abhi karti hon..No! She gave the ruddy form back!!!!
Now I want to ask you guys some questions:
- What kind of banking is that? Are they making customers or scaring away customers!
- Is this the way to treat a customer? And why the hell a front office person was doing back office work. I thought they were supposed to be separate!!!
- What is all the ego about? Itna sar kyon chara hua hai in logon ka?
- Should I give them a second chance and visit another branch??

in my opinion only their travelers card is worth all the husle…
other cards have too low limits…
so if u wana get a UBL WIZ card only go for travelers card as it has same fees but advantage of more higher limits.

First See its drawbacks..
1) If ATM eats your card, you cant get it back
2) You need to activate the internet session after very much struggle, as they will normally reply to your email
BUT I Guess This is an awesome service, I never got traped or faced any issue with UBL Wizz
Its a great option to be used on INTERNET payments.

Hey friends i got WiZ prepaid card traveler card but i am having problem in online payment on yahoo and google website. When ever i use wiz card i get error of declined even i have activated my online session for 24 hours but still i get error and rs. 86 is charged every time which i cant know why? I have been using UBL WIZ card from some months now and its a mix experience. Sometimes the card is accepted online and at others its declined. Everytime we need activate the session (which is a hassle) then they deduct amount on activating the card everytime. Overall its a mess.. Why can't we get anything stable? We will be trying now Standard Charted Visa Debit Card, and hoping for a better experience!

I would like to experience of NOT getting Wiz Card.
I heard of wiz card and visited first Branch. The CSR there tell me that "he don't have the cards in stock."
I then move on to another branch and ask for card where CSM said "the concerned person is on leave."
I then visited third branch and the person said that they replied "We don't have ID's"
Then i call to 111825888 and they said go to any branch and call me from inside branch and we will resolve your issue, so i called up from 4th branch and both CSM and phone banker talked but unfortunately they also did not have "IDs"….. So in total i visited 9 branches and just heard God Damn!! "Lame excuses"
You can think of how much irritated i was so i called 111825888. I heard a BEAUTIFUL DAMN FEMALE Bi**h voice and i just said her that i need to talk to some male banker.
As soon as the male banker pick up the phone. I said You UBL God Damn Bas****ds, Just shut this F*****ng bank. Your CSMs are cheap freek, Bas****ds, your female employees are Bi**h.
Believe you me their service is very very cheap, their customer care is hell!!!!. Even if you try to submit compalin about behavior of staff you can not!!! I advice you guys to please please do not visit UBL!!!
At the end i have decided to go to SC bank and get my debit card from there. I needed it for adwords transaction. I will use it on adwords and share my experience.

kiya Ubl wiz card Alertpay k saath kaam kar sakta hai..
and yeh kaisay kaam karta hai..
i mean k mai yahan se to paisay pakistani currency mai load karwaon ga..laikin online shopping k liye to mujay dollars mai chahiye paise..so yeh automatically convert kar deta hai paise…

It will work on any site that accepts visa.
currency is automatically coverted according to current rate.

I use UBL Wiz Teen Visa Debit Card and its did not works on Google Adword, however i use it on namecheap.com there it works perfectly. so it works on some sites.
Anyway for other sites i use my Gold Visa Creditcard.

Wiz Card does not work on websites that do not ask for CVV code. So it won’t work on godaddy, Microsoft, google adwords etc.

well UBL wiz cards can be used on most of sites requiring CVV code. but it stopped working on google adowrds since SEP 2009 and it still doesnt work. All WIZ cards dont work on adwords.
both UBL and Adwords team says that there is no problem on their end . so why it is not working. Google deducts PKR 70 for card verification but doesnt allow transaction. There must be something on either end but no party is accepting it.
any alternative on prepaid debit cards?which are instantly issued like UBL wiz ?

kiyu ke agar main internet session on karwata ho to us ke 100 pe rozana ke hai leken asl messla yah hai ke verification code 3-4 days main ata hai to kiya mujy session 3-4days active rakna ho ga kiya????

if its any other than Wallet Silver/Gold or Teen Internet Card then its Useless.
Teen Internet Card (now knows as Internet Card) pe koi activation ki fees nhi hoti.
sirf UBL Wiz Internet Card use kro bus.

agar verifation usi waqt ho jati hai to verifation ke jo amount hai wo us hi waqt to nai charge ho ge kiyu ke wo 3 se 4 din main charge hoti hai
app ko confirm nai hai ke kiya yah us hi waqt ho gai yah 3-4days main ho gai

I have recently used it with adwords and it works.
You can call UBL Helpline and they can tell you why your authorisation failed.

Authorization failed solved. But there is another problem now. PKR 70 are deducted from my card but actual payment of PKR 2000 remains unsuccessful. I contacted google, they replied that I should contact My card company. UBL says every thing is right from their end. Please Ahsan brother help me.

Yes Ahsan I tried it on facebook. It worked for me. But unfortunatly facebook disabled my account saying that there was a suspecious payment activity. But I was innocent at all. Payment was however successful with facebook.
Wiz card also works fine with adcenter.

Ahsan can you help me out. I am unable to use my UBL Teen internet card on facebook. Internet session is already ON. But facebook says there is an error with your payment and We were unable to charge the credit card associated with your account. I dont know what to do. Can you please help me out? According to the resolution we received from Concern Department against your complaint, only credit card accept on many hosting website. Since UBL Wiz card is not the proper replacement of credit card So, it has limitations and not liability to be used online on every site.

This card is useless for me.
