I got my UBL WIZ Card. Although not easy as “UBL jao, cash do , card lo”.
Because it took me one and a half hour to get the card. That was the time spent on filling the form
and updating data on computer.
After getting the card I generated my pin by calling helpline at 0800-11825. I had to wait for some time here to get connencted to phone banker.
The purpose of getting card was to use it online for payment.
For that I had to register for using card on the internet.
I downloaded Internet Activation Form from UBL site.
I filled it and faxed it on the number given on the form.
The form can also be sent by mail, or you can scan and email filled form to the bank.
But faxing seemed to me to be the quickest.
Registeration takes about 24 hours after reciept of form at the bank.
After registeration I activated my online shopping session by calling UBL helpline. Banker asked about the duration of session and the amount I wanted to spend. Session was activated and I used my card on the Net.
It was a nice experience and this was a product I always wanted to Have.
Bravo UBL!!

How much does UBL Wallet/Wiz fee charge for Shopping on American WebSites which have currency in $ (US Dollars) or any other foreign currency??…
for Example on Standard Chartered Debit Card is=
“Currency conversion fee on foreign transactions (ATM/POS) : 2.5% or Rs.300 (whichever is higher)of the transaction amount of any foreign currency transaction made or charged to your account.”
UBL Charges Rs. 100 per internet session activation.
Nothing else.

Congrats for having success with your UBL wiz, but for me it’s hassle, also you didn’t mention any fees at all.

Sir, i sent my visa card activation card forms for online activation from wallet.internet@ubl.com.pk yesterday but got not any response from your side pleas active my visa card and sent me my activation information on this email/iqbalahmad0@gmail.com
There is no response sent from the bank.
You just have to call 0800-11825 after 24 hours of sending registration form to get your “online shopping session” activated.

i like wiz card especially for students becoz now a days we cant hold cash with us this is the safest way for those who dont have credit or debit cards and also there is no need to open account just fill simple form and get wiz card

Tum loag yaqeen nahin karo gay main nay Bank main jo form fill kiya tha us main travellers card check kiya tha lakin jab main recieve karnay gaya to unhon nay mujhay Teen Visa thama diya main nay kaha is ka main acha daloon mujhay dream host par service khareedni thi Jo I think 23000 rs ki thi. Mere poochnay par banker kahnay lagi hamaray pas travellers stock main khatam tha hum nay socha ye bana dain. Yar ye buhut dramay kar rahay hain. Main nay kal10000 jama karwaya tha card bhi lay aya hoon aur abhi tak mera card main balance nahin aya. Kisi k pas koi advice hai to mujhay batao.

Yesterday I went to a UBL Branch near my home to get the UBL Wiz Card. I asked a few questions from the officer at the bank about the card and this what she did (Keep in mind she is dealing a prospective customer):
- She never even talked to me face to face just kept looking at the computer screen.
- She did not have any idea about the different features of the card, being the bank representative, I expect her to have at least some knowledge!
- When I asked her how much time it would take to get the card, this was her response: “Jee time to is mein kuch bhee nahi lagta, par mein abhi buhat busy hoon. Meray pas time nahi hai..Buhat see checks kee clearings karni hain” (What the??? )
- I kept my calm and controlled my anger and asked her if she would give me the form so that I could fill it and give it to her, so that she can make the card and I can take it from her tomorrow. She said OK. Come at same time tomorrow. So I filled out the form and gave it to her. I asked her one more time, you are sure it will be ready by tomorrow and she said Yes (still looking at the computer screen).
- Next day that means today I went to the bank and asked her if my card was ready and you know what? She had completely forgotten about it!! Now this was really getting on my nerves.
- I reminded her that she had promised me it would be ready by today and she said ” Oh! Kaam itna hai mein kya karoon. Hamara Server bhee down tha. Subah dair say kaam shru huya hai” (Just notice still no guilt and not even a single sorry and please.
- This was the limit I said I dont want the bloody card. Give me back the form…and you know what…you wont believe it!!!. She gave it back to me!!! No Sir, no sorry no please wait mein abhi karti hon..No! She gave the ruddy form back!!!!
Now I want to ask you guys some questions:
- What kind of banking is that? Are they making customers or scaring away customers!
- Is this the way to treat a customer? And why the hell a front office person was doing back office work. I thought they were supposed to be separate!!!
- What is all the ego about? Itna sar kyon chara hua hai in logon ka?
- Should I give them a second chance and visit another branch??

Companies should have some checks on them so that the customer is facilitated.

seems like a good and easy service for those people who wana shop on internet….
guess what
in my opinion only their travelers card is worth all the husle…
other cards have too low limits…
so if u wana get a UBL WIZ card only go for travelers card as it has same fees but advantage of more higher limits.

First See its drawbacks..
1) If ATM eats your card, you cant get it back
2) You need to activate the internet session after very much struggle, as they will normally reply to your email
BUT I Guess This is an awesome service, I never got traped or faced any issue with UBL Wizz
Its a great option to be used on INTERNET payments.

Hey friends i got WiZ prepaid card traveler card but i am having problem in online payment on yahoo and google website. When ever i use wiz card i get error of declined even i have activated my online session for 24 hours but still i get error and rs. 86 is charged every time which i cant know why?
